Background:
Not all of the world’s greatest archers are forest-dwelling elves wielding cumbersome long bows. Ranged fire can be just as handy and effective in an urban setting where the hunter’s traditional long bow is replaced by a more subtle and common piece of weaponry geared for a different sort of hunt.
Back-Alley snipers are accomplished archers with their chosen ranged weapon and can come from virtually any race or walk of urban life, from Halfling sling-snipers in the tightly packed alleys of the ghettos; to roof-top marksmen armed with heavy crossbows; to shadow and sewer-dwelling rogues who prefer dual-wielding the easily concealed and more elegant hand crossbows.
There are even a rare few city watchmen who walk a beat or man the city’s walls who have learned this trade, providing a specialized skill that sets them apart from their clumsy brethren among the city’s finest.

Requirements:
To qualify to become an Bacl Alley sniper (BAS) a character must fulfill all the following criteria:
Base Attack Bonus: +5
Feats: Alertness, Point-blank shot, Weapon focus (Any crossbow or sling), Dodge
Skills: Knowledge (local) 3 ranks, hide 5 ranks

Class Skills: Balance (dex), bluff (cha), climb (str), craft (Int), Disguise (cha), escape artist (dex), Gather information (cha), hide (dex), Intimidate (cha), Jump (str), knowledge (local) (Int), move silently (dex), sleight of hand (dex), spot (wis), tumble (dex), use rope (dex).
Skill points per level: 4 + Intelligence modifier.

Shot on the Run (Ex): The sniper gains the shot on the run feat even if he does not meet all the requirements.

Extended Point-Blank (Ex): The sniper adds the distance (+10 feet at 4th level, +20 feet at 8th) to his point-blank range. This essentially increasing the range at which he can benefit from feats like point-blank shot, and special abilities like a rogue’s sneak attack.

Snipe (ex): At third level, whenever the target of a sniper’s ranged attack would be denied the benefit of his dexterity AC bonus, the sniper’s attack serves as a snipe of sorts, dealing an extra 2d4 points of danage. /this bonus increases by 2d4 at6th & 9th levels.

Charging shot (Ex): The sniper can fire a single shot from any crossbow or sling in a round in which he takes a double move, but he receives a -2 penalty on this shot.

Take Cover (Ex): If the sniper is within five feet of an object that provides full cover he can opt to use that cover to protect himself against incoming ranged attacks (including spells that require a ranged touch attack). Before the attack roll is made he can, once per round, declare that he is dodging the attack and make a reflex save as a substitute for his AC, he must accept the result of the roll for better or worse.

Urban Camouflage (Ex): As the ranger Camouflage ability, except that it only applies in an urban setting.
